They came well prepared!

When Charice opened the suitcase for the day’s shoot, their outfits were placed in plastics and labeled by sets.  They had everything in the list Angel gave them. Whenever this happens, we just know it’ll be one GREAT shoot.  We breezed from one set to the next and finished in just one afternoon instead of one whole day.

We work hard on our engagement sessions.  Themes and concepts will depend on what our couples like.  For Charice and Mike, they wanted a concept that reflected what they love doing together. That’s the reason why we always ask our couples a series of questions.  It doesn’t also happen in just one sitting.  There’ll be tons of emails in between and a lot of consultations and planning.  Like marriage, it takes two to tango!

Personally, I push for engagement sessions.  It will give me/us, as your wedding photographer, the opportunity to know you more and vice versa.  It’ll erase all traces of awkwardness.  If couples go for the no engagement session package, I would insist meeting up with them over coffee.  For our couples abroad, we take advantage of technology — viber, face time, or skype.

Meet Michael and Charice. We had so much FUN shooting their engagement session.  All elements aligned that day.  Puuuurrrrfeeectttt!
