Yesterday’s family session was refreshing!

Documenting families on vacation gives me that feeling. I guess it is because I want that for myself too. A vacation and a photographer to capture moments. The peculiar part of being a family photographer is not having a set of decent photos. I have to do something about it or else I have nothing to look back to.

Amie and I knew each other since way back high school.  Seeing her again yesterday gave me that warm feeling. I find comfort in the statement that there is a reason for everything. People that we meet or cross paths again. When Amie mentioned that she’s a SPED teacher in the US, I knew right then that the universe has been sending me signals and people to make me understand FIN better. When they tell me that I’ve been doing a good job in helping Fin overcome his delays and help him blossom into how he should be in this world, I can’t help it but feel proud. When I am not working, I focus on Fin because he needs me the MOST!

My favorite frame from yesterday’s family session was when Alfonso hugged his parents, leaned his head on his mom and he said — Ammmiiigggo. Ammmiiigggo! Alfonso speaks Spanish, English, and Bisaya. Three languages for such a small and handsome boy. Alfonso muy guapito! If there is one language in the world that I love so much, it is Spanish.

Sharing with you takes from yesterday’s family session.
