They got married last month. Same place where the mountain seems to meet the sky. The Pine Tree Lodge is a picturesque edifice overlooking the mountains and if you really look far and wide, you’d see the glimmer of the ocean. But what I really love about this shoot was the love this family share.

When I first met Ria for the first time, over a cup of coffee, I felt instantly at ease. I think there are people we meet in this life that makes us feel like they are our long lost friend. We talked about what happened during their wedding. How cold it was and how her youngest cried because she wasn’t feeling very well. She talked about her family and where they’ve been. When I met all of them during the shoot, it felt like I already knew them.

It’s been a long while since I’ve blogged. I’ve been extremely preoccupied over a project that is just a few steps away from the beach. I spend most days there now! Coming back to the city makes my feet like they’re made of lead. I lay awake at night imagining the rooms that I’ve excitedly decorated. The first night I slept there with my family. The smell of coffee and the sea in the morning. I came to a point in time when I just want to really enjoy what I’m doing. Same feeling when I first started Shutterfairy Photo! Every Day Sunday officially opens tomorrow. I will definitely share photos taken from my camera instead of my phone which has been very convenient lately.
