The other day I had a lovely engagement session in Kandaya with Nokie and Irwin.  We tried shooting after lunch but the images were harsh and flat. I asked if we could continue before sunset.  I also asked if they were up to doing a sunrise session. I was giddy with excitement when Nokie said, “Why not!” I love a fun loving adventurous bride.

And so that’s what we did!

We had a short nap and swam in Kandaya’s infinity pool. I brought Fin and his papa along. We booked ourselves a room and felt like royalty.  I had to let go of mama duties when it was time to work. The thought of having them nearby was kinda comforting.  I worry when Fin is not with me. He needs his mama! I think I understand him deeply more than any other human being.  At four he still can’t converse.  I feel that I am his voice!  When we are at the beach he can verbalize so many words. He told the serviceman when he said thank you, “You’re welcome!” He is the happiest kid at sea.  That’s the main reason why I bring him with me when work is far away from home.

The afternoon light in Kandaya was pretty. I’m glad they gave in to my request.  I was trigger happy that afternoon.  Everything just aligned.

Thank you Nokie and Irwin. See you on your wedding day!
