Happy Beach: The Fadz Family

The original plan was to do The Fadz family session in Shangri-la Mactan Resort. It came as a surprise when I knew about Shangri-la’s new policy. Family photo sessions aren’t allowed there anymore unless the event (like weddings or birthdays) are held there. Hhhhmmmmmm…. I didn’t really understand but it’s hard to argue with regulations. I’ve been doing family sessions in Shangri-la for years now. I’ve met wonderful families there when they came to visit Cebu for vacation.

Sadly, happy clicking days in Shangri-la is over. For now, I guess! I just hope one day they’ll open their doors to photographers again. Because what is a family vacation when it is not properly documented, right? Our primary work as photographers is to capture moments the best way we know how. These moments become a part of a family’s bank of happy memories. It is something they will reminisce as they tread thru life.

The Fadz decided to go to Happy Beach instead. They come from Singapore and was here for vacation. It was daddy Fadz birthday too. It was a happy afternoon for us indeed. The shoot was filled with goofiness and so much laughter. Four kids with very different personalities. Although I couldn’t understand what they were saying to each other, I had the feeling they were having fun.
