Here we are! Three lovely kids after. It was surreal watching them from afar.
I was there when they tied the knot for the first time during their civil wedding. I was just starting my journey as a photographer. I can still remember holding my camera in front of my face while quietly crying with the florist. I was also there when they said I DO’s in church many years after.
But even before their wedding, Kathleen was someone I admired way back when I was in elementary. She was, I think, two years ahead of me. I’ve watched her dance on stage. I wanted to be like her, but my body had other plans. It just doesn’t know how to be graceful.
