I

I was in El Nido again for Lizlee and Rhymwie’s engagement session.  We traveled for one whole day.  The 5 hours van ride was a challenge.  It was hard to find a comfortable position.  The hilly and curvy road going to El Nido didn’t allow sleep to visit me. My body would sway in different directions. The drivers there aren’t fond of using the brakes when making a turn.  I’d always feel super tired after the van ride, but super recharged when I see the water and the shadows of the rock formation. But I’d endure the van ride over and over again because El Nido is a beauty to behold.  You have to experience how it is to truly understand why people from the other parts of the world visit the island.

Lizlee and Rhymwie’s were high school sweethearts.  They’ve been together for fourteen years.  They’re getting married this September.  I was truly grateful for the chance to bond with them.  All of us stayed in one room. I listened to the others snore late at night. Lol! Different crescendo and intensity.

Our visit to the islands was memorable.  Laughter was abundant especially when my assistant, Marites, didn’t see the rope that tied the boat.  His eyes were riveted towards the hunks who came to the island in kayaks.  It was so hilarious. We couldn’t stop laughing.

I have a feeling I’ll see El Nido again really soon.

Thank you Lizlee and Rhymwie for bringing us to El Nido.
