October 26, 2015 / Family Photo Session
A family session with The Wilson's.
I started conversing in english only to grasp after the shoot that Luke knew very well how to converse in bisaya (my native language). Why oh why! I didn’t pay attention. I wasn’t in the moment. I got so caught up with what I was doing, I forgot to listen and notice. I should be more present and be more engaging.
But I secretly love The Wilson’s family session. In this set, I didn’t include Erica’s family photos (her parents and sibs). Just so I wouldn’t confuse all of you. It was nice meeting them. Erika’s parents regaled me with stories about how Erika and Luke met. They were so cute too. We parked outside the Temple of Leah and Luke handed us a jolly meal (chicken joy and spaghetti). It was so Filipino to eat outside inside a parked car. Picnic is what we call it! I knew instantly it was going to be a great day with the Wilson’s and Erica’s family.
I was trigger happy. Here are some photos.
Loved our session. You did such a great job. Daghang salamat! Our family love the photos
Thank you to your family as well.. I had so much fun. You guys were so warm. I enjoyed talking to Erica’s parents… and I have to say you speak bisaya so well. Very Filipino!!
