25 years: Ramonito & Editha

Twenty-five years is a long time! So is FOREVER!  But is it not supposed to be that when you spend the rest of your life with someone, twenty-five years is nothing?? And forever is not enough.

I enjoy documenting renewal of vows or wedding anniversaries.  Especially when the children are grown and participate in the preparation of their parents wedding anniversary.  They take part and prepare surprises – a song maybe or a dance!  Their speeches always tug my hearts.

I’ve been asked a couple of times why I accept booking for renewal of vows.  I don’t see any reason why not?  There is continuity in LOVE.  It just starts on the wedding day, a promise of forever… It transcends to having that first child, to birthdays, and to anniversaries.  That’s the reason why you’d see me with my camera in these occasions.

To Mon and Bebot, you just don’t know how much you have inspired me that indeed there is truth to growing old together, loving and accepting once weaknesses and being each other’s strength.
