I

It rained!  It rained long and hard.

“It’s like rain on your wedding day. Isn’t it ironic?”  A wedding on a rainy Monday isn’t ironic, it’s meant to be.  People from Portuguese believe that rain on a wedding day is good omen for the married couple.  In France, they say,  “Mariage pluvieux, Mariage heureux.”

Do you feel melancholic when it rains?  Or would you rather celebrate the rain?

The sound of the rain makes me feel happy.  It brings back pleasant childhood memories. Back then; the advancement of technology didn’t tie us to a chair or bind us in one corner of the house.  I was always out and about, even when it rained.  My neighbors were my playmates.  We climbed trees, played hide and seek, learned how to ride a bike with no training wheels.

The greatest challenge that day was to find creativity without damaging our gears.  I borrowed table napkins from the waiters to cover my camera.  I wish we could have our gears insured.  Do we have that here?

Tuesday looked radiant in a Bernardo Flores creation. She reminds me of Kristine Hermosa. Her deep eyes and chiseled facial features made her look very regal.  Make up artist, Jessie Glova, did an excellent job in bringing out her eyes.  Shandar’s red customized wedding shoes pulled the whole look together.  Tuesday was all ready for his prince, who equally looked very dashing.

Congratulations!

Hi Sheila… can’t wait…

I like the mood of these phortos. A mixture between vintage and modern. I love the last one with smoke and rain!
