She sings like a nightingale.  Her voice echoes through the silence of the night.  She composes songs like it’s the most natural thing to do.  She weaves melodies as easy as reciting the ABC.

If there’s one talent I wish I were blessed with, I want to sing (and dance) like Jennifer Lopez.  It’s poetry with melodies.  A letter turned into lyrics.  Songs can touch people’s hearts, even the hardest callous covered heart.  What is a love story without songs?  Even suspense movies has to have a song in it. Sadly, my voice isn’t meant for singing.  I can’t dance like J Lo, except for some suave move here and there while raising one hand in the air or execute the YMCA dance step.  That’s how far I can go.  Beyond that, I am useless.

I have songs in my play list that makes me want to stare into space for the whole duration of the song.  Then my mind starts to drift somewhere far.  Creating a scene from a movie with a Twilight touch to it.  And of course, there has to be some Edward in it.

My recent favorite is Home by Michael Buble.

I wish, one day, her singing prowess will push her to greater heights.  More challenging projects.  More beautiful melodies.  More inspiration.  More gooey love in her life.

“Happy birthday.”

Watch out for her new album entitled Zero.  I asked her why.  She gave me the most creative explanation only a true artist can make.
