This was the shoot last Sunday that cracked me up every now and then.  With Cebu based stylist, Angelo Kangleon, and Manila based events and stylist, Deo Urquiaga; it was impossible not to laugh.  I love the duo!  If you work with these people, expect your creative juices to keep on flowing.

Majority of the props used to create the theme came from Manila. It takes patience and a wild imagination to hunt for these pieces.  Deo won’t tell me his secret store.  I think we had to bring one huge balikbayan box and a suitcase to the location, which was the hardest part.  We had to cross a small brook and shoot on an uneven terrain.

The girls like ballerinas.  Since it was Sophie’s birthday, we incorporated the ballerina idea and made it look like a ballerina birthday themed party.  If this was Angel describing the set, I’m sure he’ll go into more details.  Two sets for this shoot –– ballet and enchanted inspired plus American folk.

Meet the Urquiaga’s  — Eman, Era, Maitea, and Deo.  And the Chua’s — Nina, Ron, Sofia and Samantha.

Lovely photos as ever, Ate Mai! Wow, you’re going to Iloilo in June? Hoping to finally meet you in person, if your schedule permits.
