You know how it is when you meet someone for the first time and you get that warm fuzzy feeling deep inside?  That’s exactly how I felt when I met Fretzel Buenconsejo.  I remember thinking how great it would be to photograph her.  Olive skin.  Curly hair.  Deep soulful eyes and a smile worthy of a toothpaste ad.  A person that could tell me stories while I try to chase and capture it.

As if her looks weren’t enough, Angel gave me a run down of her past projects.  Her face plastered all over the Metro Railing Station for a Nescafe Ad.  She also did a stint for Gatorade and had done a spread for a magazine that Angel showed me.   Wow!  I wanted to hide under the table and whisper a prayer of gratitude.

She’s one humble soul.  Don’t you just love being with people with the most welcoming aura?  Humble people are more secure of themselves. They are more REAL.  I guess this was the main focus for this shoot.  I wanted to showcase glamour that was something more than what meets the eye.

Here are some photos of last Saturday’s shoot.

She is perfect! Beautiful aura she exudes. Awesome shots Mai!

There are no words to dsecrbie how bodacious this is.

Uber fab Mai!

I wanna do (again, some other time) but this time a serious portrait shoot and YOU, Shutterfairy, as my model. =)

Omg, I haven’t seen Fretzel in sooo long! Grabe her old photoshoots, no? I’ve always been jealous of her hair and skin. 🙂

Me too… Jealous of her olive skin and hair.. She really knows how to strut and pose.. Funny and such a cowgirl, too… Beautiful person.
