It was the most romantic engagement session I ever did.  There are men who are hopeless romantics, too.  Men who likes surprises! So, when he told me about his surprise e-session for Mela, I excitedly said yes.

Mela’s parents were very supportive.  I find it cute that they prepared everything without Mela’s knowledge. They also looked for the location like the to-die-for American vintage house we used.

When we arrived at Mela’s place  — Humberto’s, Mela was upstairs.  All made up and very clueless. Her mom told her to have her test make up that same morning.  I love their home.  It’s warm and inviting.  If you ever visit Davao, for business or for pleasure, go to Humberto’s.  You have to try their chocolate cake, too. It’s like having a taste of heaven on earth.  I’m serious!! I was just too shy to close my eyes when I had my first bite.

Mela’s dad calls me Shutter Lady.  That’s nice!  Then it became Shutter Bug.  That’s better compared to a well-known surgeon who calls me Shutterfly!  And then it became Fairytale.  Nicer!  Because engagements and weddings should be something like that — a fairytale!

To Christian and Mela, THANK YOU for having me.  I don’t mind hopping from one Fish store to another as long as I get to play Snoopy’s Fair.

Best wishes to the couple and to the "shutter fairy" may you capture more precious moments and make more people happy.
