Marcuz.
Last week I met a little boy named Marcuz. He’s turning one year old in a few days. I did her mom’s maternity session. Seeing her again with Marcus reminded me of the sole reason why I do what I do.
Freezing moments and milestones were initially my driving force when I first started. I had the purest intention. I will always crave for realness in photographs and emotions rather than technicalities. I want to capture what’s organic and authentic. I need to go back to when I first started. Is it just I who is going through this phase?
I was initially worried when I saw the set-up beautifully done by Laure’s Vanity. Some kids like it, some don’t. When I started shooting, Marcus enjoyed the attention and all the pretty things around him. My worries melted away like ice cream under the heat of the sun.
We became fast friends.
