I

I was so ready to post this set the other day. I woke up really early. Had coffee while I resized, arranged, and started to compose my thoughts. Suddenly at about three in the morning, my computer monitor shook and the familiar sound of wood, glass and cement rumbled. Earthquake! I was in my fight or flight mode.

So here I am two days after.

How can I forget Karla and Willmer? I met them during the early years of my journey as a wedding photographer. I can still remember how awkward I felt when we did their engagement session. I was the third shooter while Paul and Cha (Calography) took the lead. The posing part used to confuse me. I found it so hard to direct — look here, look there, angles, and so on.

During their wedding, I remember feeling so nervous. The kind where it was so hard to swallow my own saliva.

Many years after, I asked if I could do their family portrait. I wanted to feel the continuity of what I do. So happy they said yes!

Thank you for feeding my creative hunger.
