Meet Saana.

When my Ate Grace was pregnant with her, we hopped from one café to another and gorged on high calorie food.  I ate like a pregnant woman, too. A month before she gave birth, we frequented East West and Café George.  We ate and ate until we couldn’t anymore.

I remember visiting Ate Grace a day after she gave birth.  She was lying flat on bed, hooked to an IV.  She looked really exhausted.  The happy kind of tired.

She’s like that!  No matter how hard it rains in her world, she would rather choose to stay positive and look at the glass half full, rather than half empty.  She’s the kind of person who would drop everything for family and friends. People like her deserve the best things this world could offer.

Then came Saana.  She inherited her mom’s positive demeanor. My best friend, Kristine, gave her a glass of mango shake, some fries, and a piece of chicken.  At a very tender age of one, her eating habit is quite disciplined.  Early on, vegetables were introduced to her diet. No meat.  I won’t be surprised if, as an adult, she would prefer veggies to meat and be a beautiful vegan.

The photos explain why she look so giddy with happiness.  Her taste buds must’ve been surprised.  “What is this I’m tasting?  This is new!”

We were such bad Titas!
