While editing these photos, the tune that kept on playing inside my head was the song Leonne’s dad sang when we did their session.

“Leonne, Leonne… Yes papa?? Eating sugar? No papa!! Telling lies?? No papa! Open your mouth.. ha ha ha…”  We’d all sing and laugh our hearts out after.

I just hope I didn’t scare this little fella.  He didn’t give me one single smile.  Our baby session became an instant mini family session.  Although I would always include the parents at the last set, Leonne’s session was an exemption.  They were in the frame from start to end.  Not that it’s a bad thing.  I just want to point out that when it comes to the little people, nothing can’t be controlled.  Expect the unexpected!  I can do something about the environment, but their mood and how they are in front of the camera is beyond me.  Thus, I always tell parents, even caregivers to let them be.  Let them cry if they need to.  After all crying is a form of release.  Let them pout if they want to.  After all pouting is a form of self expression.  Let them laugh or smile when they feel like it because of someone doing cart wheels in the background.  Just let them express themselves in front of the camera in whatever form they choose.

It was nice meeting this fella…. finally!  I did his momma’s maternity session.

Here are some photos of Galileo, Yvonne, and Leonne.
