Fe and Ernest mother and child.
This would’ve been the perfect mother’s day session.
When Fe sent me a message to inquire about a mother and son session, I was super excited. She was concerned about the props and set-up. I love those – props and a pretty set-up, but there is a certain freedom when my subjects aren’t contained with props and a themed set-up.
The session was for Ernest’s 6th birthday. His mom wanted a reminder of that day. I braved the rain, flood and heavy traffic. It took me three hours to reach Maribago Blue Waters. Ernest didn’t want to wear the suspenders and bow tie at first. Mom blew her magic spell, whispered something to him and made him feel okay to be photographed. Mothers, after all, are super heroes. We have the power to turn No to Yes.

He said his favorite subject is Science. He loves Spiderman.
