Family: Japan to the Philippines
As I write this it’s 8:30 in the morning. As always (lately), I am pressed for time. I wish I could sit on my desk and work until I finish everything I need to do.
I just need to center myself and not lose my balance. I get heart palpitations whenever I think of the many things I need to do. I blame coffee! Maybe I am just too hard on myself? Is it just I? Burn out is not a very healthy feeling. I know I need to do something about it really soon. This feeling shall pass! I just need to pace myself and not drown myself with work. A trip to the beach is a very appealing idea! I should go, you think??
Last month I met a lovely family of three from Japan. The afternoon heat was a challenge and so was the traffic going to Shangri-La. I learned that I should be extra extra early to bond with kids first before the actual shoot. We need to be friends before I spin my camera out and click away. Noah started warming up towards the end of the shoot.
I love family sessions. Universe, send me more families to photograph my way please!
