You know when you meet someone and you just know you’ll gel well.  The awkwardness gone and stories begin to flow.  You start to open up and talk endlessly about what you love to do most?  That’s how I felt when I first met Catherine over coffee and pretzels at St. Anne’s.

For this shoot it rained the whole morning.  I wasn’t sure if my mental sun dance could work.  But it stopped right after lunch.  The skies cleared.  I just had the feeling it’ll be a good day.

This is Guada’s first styled engagement session.  I am so happy to have three wonderful people with me.  There’s Angel, the stylist/photographer/classy/uber busy/most wanted.  Jenny, the funny and very resourceful set decorator.  There’s Guada, the young hip stylist who sent me an email asking if she could join the team.

Who am I to say no to someone who wants to explore the creative world.  It feels nice to give someone that chance to be part of something.  When I first started, like Angel, doors closed but some windows opened. I am grateful for those who have helped me and believed in me.  You know who you are!

Some photos of Charlton and Cath’s engagement session.
