I

It was a wedding made in heaven.  Intimate. Surreal. Grand.  Well thought of.  Beautiful.

The bride looked very stunning in a Bernardo Flores creation.  Do you know that we biked almost everyday just for this wedding?  She wanted to look toned and lithe on her wedding day.  She kept saying, “Mag bike na ta kay hapit na!”

Do you also know that we had to cut down our bike time? She wanted a fairer and creamier complexion.  No sun!  For the past months we talked about beauty stuff – facials, diets, lotions, etc.  Let girls be girls!

The maid of honor in her speech said, “Kani si Icel ganahan kaayo ni siya manglaba.  Magluto!”  She likes to do the laundry.  She also likes to cook.  I admire this woman’s determination when it comes to running a household.  She takes very good care of her family with a commitment that runs as deep as the ocean.

I signed their wedding guest book.  I wrote there, “Love one another more each day.”
