I enjoy engagement sessions. It is like a prelude to the big day. A time together captured in photographs. Many years after I hope it’ll bring back happy memories. Back then, engagement sessions didn’t exist. If it did, nobody ever told me. Hah! It’s quite obvious I didn’t get to experience to be photographed prior to saying I do. It would have been lovely.
When shooting e-sessions, I look for inspirations. It is similar to writing stories. It comes naturally because I weave stories in my head. Stories about people, adventures, dreams, emotions and sometimes frustrations poured out in words and hidden in between lines just so it wouldn’t come out sad.
For Armand and Janice engagement session, we went to our secret place. Up there in the mountains where we went crazy running from one hill to another, submerging ourselves in mysterious looking weeds, and accidentally stepping on soft mud.
Armand and Janice came well prepared. Don’t you just love couples like that?
It really makes a huge difference.
They’re getting married this weekend. The team is heading to Bohol.
