“Let it go, let it go. Can’t hold it back anymore. Let it go, let it go. Turn away and slam the door!”
The lyrics of this song kept playing inside my head. I was so amazed by the little musicale the parents of Alex and Luis prepared for their guests, adults and children alike. I didn’t quite understand why most kids went gaga over Frozen. Little girls wanted to be like Elsa. Parties were themed after the movie. But when I saw Stories In A Suitcase perform, I was in awe.
“Aaaahhhh! That’s why kids love that movie!”
For awhile I was a kid again with a camera. Carnival (Feria) was the theme of Alexa and Lewis birthday party. Stanz Catalan, the coordinator, did an awesome job. Big thanks to her by the way. She was so thoughtful, she prepared a vegetarian meal for me. “Super thank you!”
Everything was pretty and festive. It was the grandest birthday party I have ever photographed.
Here’s a peek of last Sunday’s festive birthday party. It was nice to be there again and see familiar faces. I was there when Alexa turned one. I was there again when she turned two. And then I met his little brother for a photo session that doubled as a family session, too. “Thank you for always remembering to include me in your family’s milestones.”
