Bohol Engagement Session: Taka & Amanda
It was just last Tuesday when I met Taka and Amanda for the first time. We have been exchanging emails and messages on Facebook for the last couple of months.
When I meet clients for the first time, I worry about gazillion things like will they like me? What if they’ll think I am too uptight? What if we don’t gel well! And so onnnnnnnn…. Never ending what ifs!
When I am at that point of self doubt, I bring myself back to what I have been slowly building — honest to goodness hard work!
It’s Monday! I’m sipping a cup of coffee as I post this set. I gaze steadily at the photos of the sunset. It is the most beautiful thing to see ever!
Thank you Taka and Amanda for bringing us all the way to Bohol to photograph the love you share for each other. When you visit the Philippines again, I’d love to go on a diving trip with you.

The first set brought us to Bohol’s Mahogany man made forest. I love the light there! The trees shoots up towards the blue sky and they look like sentinel guards guarding the side of the road.
Cars loaded with tourists passed by and shouted a happy congratulations. You might be wondering why Amanda is wearing a wedding gown for her engagement session. Because you can! Engagement sessions does not have to be limited to anything less formal than this.
Baclayon church was our next stop for the second set. We passed by the other churches but they were still being fixed from the strong earthquake that struck Bohol two years ago.
Aaaahhh the beach set! Taka and Amanda are both divers. I enjoyed listening about their dives in Bohol. I was a bit envious! I haven’t done any dives since the year started.
The following day, I woke up early for the sunrise set. It was quick but very much worth it. I wanted to do fifty sun salutes!
that white dress against the blue sea is so nice for.
