Big Q Farm Engagement Session: Christopher & Nhyl
Christopher and Nhyl’s engagement session was the second to the last shoot I had the last week. It was a five-day shoot marathon. I would’ve considered it just another work day, but last week was hellish. I got sick after we did RJ and Noreen’s session. I had fever when I arrived home. My joints hurt like it never did before. I had rashes all over my body. On the second day after another long hot day, I went to the emergency room and had myself checked. I was cleared to go home with a questionable diagnosis. The attending doctor said it was just viral. But I suspected something else. The hospital I went to didn’t have the test to determine if I had Chickunyunya.
I had to rest my joints (wrist most especially). It has been two weeks now since I had my last yoga session. I miss my mat and the wonderful feeling after yoga could give. I’m feeling better already, but would rather take another week off before I start exercising again. If there’s one thing that yoga has taught me — compassion to self!
Here are some photos of Nhyl and Christopher’s engagement session up in the cold and foggy Big Q Farm. In the city it was super hot, but up there the weather was great. If only I didn’t feel so awful that day.

If you love the mountains, you can rent the rustic cabin in the forest. It’s cold up there. I love the fireplace! I don’t get to experience that always.
This is the driveway going to the rustic cottage. Love those trees.
This shoot was styled by First of April. She found a spot right in the middle of the forest. She need two trees to hang those pretty flowers. Can’t believe she brought that pink couch and all the other stuff just to achieve the look she had in mind.
This was the extra set. She really wanted a flower crown. Wish granted!
The first time I met Nhyl she wasn’t this slender. She said she drank Herbalife. That got me very interested.
