Bacolod to San Carlos City Engagement Session: Jun & Suelyn
From the city we traveled all the way to Toledo city, rode a boat to cross and get to San Carlos City. Then it was another winding ride to Bacolod city where Suelyn, the bride waited for us.
Our first stop was at the famous Taj Mahal of Negros, The Ruins. I initially thought that The Ruins is somewhere in the mountains. But after passing through a dirt road with sugar canes left and right, my assumption about its location was wrong. It was an odd and strange site to behold. Ruined but beautifully so!
The place was packed with tourist. It was impossible to get a clean shot. We decided to hop to another place. A forty-five minutes car drive from The Ruins. It was a vast plantation of pine trees. I knew instantly it was perfect for the second set. But it started to drizzle. When you are in a location far from your home base, you make do with what you have. I begged the heavens to stop crying for a few minutes just so I could have some pretty shots.
Here are some photos of last Saturday’s engagement session.
