Look here. Look up. Tilt your head on this side. Smiiillleee.  Smiyes. Close your eyes. Relax. Nice.

It was one crazy afternoon when US girls — Josephine Sicad – Minerva (Singapore based photographer), Jade Saducas (videographer, photographer, cake artist, painter, and make up artist), Jenny Salvador (California-based photographer), and my crazy self decided to go on a road trip up South to find the perfect location to shoot and some girl bonding.

We passed by trees, a barn with an old yellow and blue truck (we have to go back there), hills, and old houses. We talked non stop and shared thoughts about the photography business, the photographers that we look up to, dreams of traveling, silly stories, laughter, and some personal thoughts.

We reached the town of Boljo-on and found the perfect spot to do the shoot.  We wanted something with texture, old, and different. Thus the overload of the walls you’ll see in this set. We saw a lady with a vintage looking bike.  We were so delighted when she lent it to us.

Someday, who knows, we will find ourselves in a different country going crazy over the perfect location to shoot – barns, vineyards, train stations, farms, and all those details I dream of having in my photos.  They say when you are in a different place, the light is different.  I am intrigued by this.  Is the sunset out there different from what we have here? Is it softer? Golden??

Someday, I’ll find out for myself.

Meet my crazy friends.
